Members

Members participate in the network through a formal structure that is directly coordinating, and in a relationship of mutual accountability, with the regional or international IJAN organizing (work groups, sector networks, Chapters). Members are committed to working from an anti-Zionist Jewish location within the Palestine solidarity movement and broader political landscape.

Criteria

Members agree with the IJAN Points of Unity, are represented politically by the IJAN Charter, commit to abide by the IJAN Organizing Principles, and are willing to work within IJAN strategy, structure and process, and meet criteria established at a local level (if applicable).

Role

  • Actively participate in local and regional work
  • Support international campaigns
  • Use the network to support organizing by sector, campaign, or region
  • Stay informed of network activities and decisions
  • Keep the network informed about your local and regional activities and events
  • Give input into discussion and decision making in the arena of work in which you are involved
  • Be in regular contact, communication and consultation with regional representatives to ensure local representation in regional and international organizing as well as political alignment of the local and regional activities
  • Help build the capacity and resources of the network
  • Contribute financially to sustaining our work

To become a Member of a sector network, work group, or local or national Chapter, contact its representative.  By becoming a Member you will be added to the list of Charter signatories and our Member mailing list.  You also may participate in public dialogue on our web site, and in our on-line discussions and organizing forum.
