About Us

The work at this phase of foundation building is being undertaken by a geographically and demographically diverse Core of approximately 20 people from locations across the US, five European countries, and '48/Israel. The participants on this team have previously demonstrated their full alignment with anti-Zionist struggle as part of broader anti-colonial, anti-imperialist, and anti-capitalist liberation struggles. They come from widely varying histories that reflect the diversity of understandings of the issues at hand and they each bring specific skills to the building of IJSN. They range in age from 23 to 78.

As people from Canada, Argentina, Eastern Europe, South Africa, Australia and other potential locations are identified, these numbers will hopefully grow, although we aim to have no more than 40 people participate in this initial international building process.

In addition to the people involved internationally, there are also regional organizing teams in the US, UK, continental Europe, and Israel. The primary role of these teams is to build the infrastructure for the network in their respective regions. They also play an important role in giving input to those who are building internationally. They help with research and assessment, outreach, and in some cases, they organize study groups to enhance the base of knowledge from which our political activity will come.
