About Us
The United Kingdom has a growing Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement. Thus a main activity of the UK IJAZ Network will be participation in BDS campaigns, actions and activities. In support of this work, we will be organizing a popular tribunal that exposes and gathers testimony on the role of Zionist institutions, such as the Jewish National Fund, in bankrolling Israeli apartheid, the expansion and maintenance of militant and violent Jewish settlements, and the Israeli military.
We will be participating in Edinburgh’s Holocaust Memorial Week Conference on Resistance to Genocide and Ethnic Cleansing from Europe in the 1940s to the Middle East today starting January 25, 2009.
The strategies and activities in the UK will emerge through discussion and consultation with anti-Zionist, anti-imperialist, anti-racist, and Palestine solidarity activists and organizations. We work with existing and help to seed new anti-Zionist organizing and BDS efforts in the UK.
